Swaledale Sheep

Swaledale and Mule ewes
  • Four hundred Swaledale and Mule ewes produce purebred stock and crossbred lambs.
  • Mule Ewe lambs, store lambs and draft ewes available for sale from September.
  • Freezer lamb is available for sale. See Farm Sales

 

Belted Galloway Cattle

  • Used for conservation grazing in order to encourage wading birds on the wetter ground.
  • Ask about availability of stock.

Hens

Belgian Bantams are free to roam round the farmyard area
  • We have a variety of hens, some of which are rare breeds.
  • The Belgian Bantams and Derbyshire Redcaps are frequently admired by vistors and walkers.
  • Fresh eggs are usually available for purchase. See Farm Sales

 

LEAF

Upper Booth is a working farm. Depending on when they visit visitors will witness a variety of activities including the annual shearing of the sheep.

    Environmental Policy
    At Upper Booth Farm we are proud of our environmental achievements. Please help us reduce our environmental impact. Bring minimal packageing (use Hampers For Campers!) and recycle in bins provided or take your waste home with you. Your support is much appreciated.

    Don't forget that you can order food to collect on arrival. Our Hamper For Campers can be ordered from the website - click on Sales Minimum 14 days notice and full payment with order please. Local produce, reduce food miles, support local businesses.

    2010 Prices
    Prices for Camping and Cars remain at 2009 rates. We have increased prices for minibuses and trailers (minibus's £4 per night and trailers £5 per night) A reminder......... that we can not accept motorhomes or any other vehicle larger than a 16 seater minibus, individuals or groups being "dropped off" should NOT come to the farm but disembark at the carpark in Barber Booth.
